Serendipity means a "happy accident" or "pleasant surprise";

specifically, the accident of finding something good or useful while not specifically searching for it. 

My name is Emily Apeland and I created this blog out of a love for candy and all things sweet and serendipitous.  From party ideas to DIY tutorials, I hope readers find something surprisingly pleasant.
